Drift Pollen Allergy

DID YOU KNOW?

Pollen is not what you think. It doesn’t come from beautiful, fragrant flowers. It comes from grasses, trees and weeds. In fact, ragweed is the #1 pollen producer; a single ragweed plant can make a MILLION grains of pollen a day!

Catch up with DRIFT on the pollen allergy!

So, a little birdie tells me you have are allergic to pollen or want to know more about it. Lucky for you, I just happened to land in the right place at the right time! My name is Drift, and I fly everywhere to catch kids with allergies up on pollen.

If you have a pollen allergy, you are not alone; in fact, millions of people around the world have this allergy! My friends and I don’t mean to cause any harm though. We’re just trying to get to all of the plants to help them grow, but we oftentimes end up landing in people’s noses and throats. It’s not exactly our idea of a fun time either! The best advice I can give you is to play indoors as much as possible on high pollen days, especially if you have asthma. There are plenty of fun things to do!

One idea is to check out all the cool stuff our friends at AllerMates have created to help you learn to be safe AND have fun. So kick back, click on the links to the left and come back as often as you’d like.

Oh, I hear the wind coming to pick me back up, so until next time I land here, take good care of you.

Up, up and away!
